Job Summary
Read banquet event orders and provide fine-dining-level food and beverage service to guests, anticipating needs and maintaining professional contact. Setup and maintain food and beverage stations in various locations, manage station inventory, and ensure all event areas and front-of-house staging spaces remain tidy. Participate in setup and cleanup of service items, reset spaces for subsequent events, and store equipment appropriately. Work independently during slower periods while performing safe work practices and responding to customer inquiries. This role requires lifting heavy objects, including carrying at least 8 entrees per tray, and working flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position offers a $18.00 hourly rate with tips and includes 401(k) matching benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often
- Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Must be punctual with consistent attendance
- Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred
- Equivalent experience may be substituted
- 6 months to 1 year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred
