Job Summary
Assist the Food and Beverage Manager and Event Manager in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive experience. Prepare, refill, and serve beverages and wine; set up tables, buffets, and break stations according to meal periods and standards. Remove dishes and glasses to the kitchen, replace table linens and service settings, and clean workstations. Refill condiment containers, provide menu descriptions, relay special orders to kitchen staff, and observe guests for additional needs. Offer excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients while maintaining safety and precision. This role requires a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and extended shifts. Candidates must be at least eighteen years old to serve alcohol, with one year of event or restaurant experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen years of age to serve alcoholic drinks
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, extended (long) workdays and extended number of days
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent GED strong preferred
- Equivalent experience may be substituted
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in events, banquets or restaurants preferred
