Job Summary
As a Banquet Server, you will provide the highest quality service to guests, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation. Responsibilities include serving food and beverages in a courteous manner, clearing and resetting tables, performing opening and closing procedures, and maintaining high standards of personal grooming. Ideal candidates will have previous hospitality experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with guests. The position requires standing for entire shifts, lifting weights up to 50 pounds, and working in high-pressure situations. Candidates should possess a High School diploma or GED and demonstrate a customer-oriented focus.
Required Qualifications
- Previous restaurant and hospitality experience preferred
- Service oriented with excellent customer service and sales skills
- Ability to effectively communicate to guests, management, and coworkers
- Energetic and outgoing with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Must understand and work with basic financial information and solve basic arithmetic problems
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of computer software (including Microsoft Office, outlook) and web analytics tools is preferred
- Ability to type 45 wpm and input data and access information on the computer
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Opera; preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain regular attendance in compliance with property standards as required by scheduling
- Must primarily work during Springboard Hospitality business hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (PST), with potential weekend or holiday work
