Banquet Server (On call)

Job Summary
Collect and prepare service items including glassware, ice, napkins, china, and flatware, inspecting each for cleanliness. Set banquet tables to standards and review Banquet Event Orders to confirm requirements. Provide food and beverage service while maintaining floor cleanliness and following "Clean as You Go" practices. Clear service areas, return supplies to storage, and clean banquet equipment and refrigeration units. Perform post-event cleanup, reset rooms, and attend departmental meetings. Work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays with an on-call schedule. Maintain a courteous demeanor and interact effectively with all guests and staff.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year or more related experience
- Gaming license/registration as required by the Virginia Lottery
- Must have alcohol certification or be able to obtain within 120 days of employment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, and carry trays of food and beverages
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
