Job Summary
Assist with set-up of tables, linens, and chairs for banquet events while providing excellent food and beverage service. Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and Alcohol Beverage Control laws to ensure seamless event execution. Perform back of the house, front of the house, and side work duties, including operating fountain machines and carrying items weighing up to 35 lbs. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift. Flexible schedule required with potential for extended hours and on-call rotation in a 24/7 casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position
- Alcohol Beverage Card required
- Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, glasses and serving tray
- Ability to push bus cart and carry trash/linen bags, weighing up to 35 lbs
- Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule
- May require extended hours and work week from time to time
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- One - three years of experience in casual, buffet or fine dining restaurant is preferred
