Job Summary
Set up banquet rooms with linen, serviceware, and glassware as instructed by the Supervisor. Attend pre-event roll call meetings to learn function particulars, guest expectations, and menu details. Greet guests, respond to requests courteously, and serve food and beverages according to Supervisor orders to ensure consistency. Promptly remove dishes after courses and replenish beverages while checking for overall satisfaction. Reset the room post-event to prepare for the next function. Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate requirements for serving alcohol. Transport up to 50 lbs. through crowded areas and operate beverage equipment. Obtain BASSET and food handler certifications within 30 days of hire. Work on a regular basis while maintaining punctuality and professional appearance.

- Ability to obtain BASSET and food handler certifications within 30-days of hire
- Ability to transport up to 50 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift
- Ability to operate beverage equipment, e.g., coffee maker
- Ability to adhere to hotel security policies and procedures
- Ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job
- Willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones
- Adaptability to change in work area and hotel procedures
- Willingness to ask for help whenever unsure how to do something
