Job Summary
Set up banquet rooms with linen, serviceware, and glassware as instructed, then attend roll call meetings to learn function particulars and guest expectations. Greet guests, serve food and beverages in the order specified by the Supervisor, and promptly remove dishes between courses. Replenish drinks, check for overall satisfaction, and reset the room after the event concludes. Abide by all state, federal, and corporate requirements for serving alcohol. Transport up to 30 lbs through crowded rooms and operate beverage equipment like coffee makers. Maintain a professional appearance, communicate well with guests, and assist coworkers as needed. Work on a regular basis while adhering to attendance rules and hotel security policies.

- Must have the ability to communicate in English

- Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions
- Ability to remember menu items
- Ability to recite menu items
- Ability to promote the variety of menu items
- Ability to transport up to 30 lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift
- Ability to operate beverage equipment
- Must be available to work on a regular basis
- Must abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
