Job Summary
Banquet Server responsible for serving at special events across banquet facilities, including patio and racetrack areas. Duties include serving courses from banquet kitchen and service bars, garnishing and decorating dishes, observing guests and responding to requests, handling payments and presenting checks, checking IDs for alcohol service, and assisting other servers and staff. Maintains knowledge of legal drinking age and uses judgment when serving alcohol. Performs side duties such as rolling silverware, restocking, and setting up/ breaking down service areas. Shifts run up to 8 hours (or longer if needed). Location noted as Wilkes-Barre, PA. Requires at least 18 years old and a high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
