Job Summary
Set up events by arranging tablecloths, place settings, and buffet stations. Carry plates of food on trays and serve guests while keeping glasses filled and replenishing utensils. Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service, maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards and provide your own uniform. Work indoors with occasional outdoor exposure, lifting up to 40 lbs frequently, and perform duties as requested by the Dining Room Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Previous waitress, waiter or banquet server experience
- Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work
- Must be able to lift up 40 lbs. and up to 30 lbs. frequently
- Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting
- A banquet server MUST provide their own uniform which consists of a white tuxedo shirt, black bow tie, black pants, black socks and black shoes
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good organizational and verbal skills
- Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues
- Ability to perform basic mathematical skills
