Job Summary
Set up assigned tables, retrieve and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications and group requirements. Greet arriving guests, assist with seating, and take alcoholic beverage orders using suggestive selling techniques. Anticipate needs, respond promptly, and handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of assigned stations. Monitor food and beverage safety based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications. Available for flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company's business operations.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
- ServSafe and/or food safety training.
- Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in banquet operations and/or hospitality preferred.
- High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
