Job Summary
Assist with table and meeting space prep, set up display stations and bars, and arrange food before events. Read and execute all BEOs while ensuring safe food handling guidelines are followed. Deliver food to meeting spaces and serve plated items alongside alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. Perform post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear down. Remain guest focused with the goal of 100% satisfaction and completion of all BEOs. Work as a team member communicating with supervisors to maintain efficiency and courtesy. Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, work under pressure, and adapt to flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers efficiently and effectively
- Must be able to work under pressure and maintain a courteous demeanor and attitude towards all
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changes
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inluding but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in regulation with company dress code policy
- Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
