Banquet Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily Banquet team operations and staffing, interview and onboard banquet server associates, and drive training and performance management. Coordinate with Culinary, Sales, Stewarding, Engineering, and Front Office to ensure flawless event execution, review BEOs, manage event timelines and setups, and maintain department standards. Conduct pre-shift meetings, enforce dress and hygiene requirements, and coach staff to deliver exceptional guest service. Manage scheduling, payroll, disciplinary actions, and cross-department collaboration to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel/resort banquet environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of banquet, event operations, or Food & Beverage leadership experience within a hotel, resort, conference center, or hospitality environment
- Experience overseeing high-volume banquet functions, weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and social events preferred
- Strong understanding of banquet service standards, event timelines, room setups, and banquet operational flow required
- Experience managing multiple events simultaneously while adapting to last-minute operational and guest changes
- Knowledge of banquet setup styles, food and beverage service standards, and event execution logistics preferred
- Prior leadership experience in banquet operations including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management of banquet associates
