Job Summary
Oversee daily banquet operations, including staffing, scheduling, event setup, service, and breakdown while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations. Direct employees through hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary counseling; conduct daily and weekly walkthroughs to maintain facility standards and service quality. Coordinate with culinary, event sales, and housekeeping departments to execute seamless events, manage inventory for food and beverage, and resolve guest concerns. Drive a company vehicle, attend department meetings, and handle emergency situations. Work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends across various Food & Beverage outlets.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree
- minimum of three years related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver's license
- successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- annual MVRs
- Strong leadership skills
- organized and customer service/member relations skills
- ability to handle high-pressure situations
- ability to adapt to last minute changes
- willingness and ability to work various/multiple outlets
- willingness and ability to work shifts within the Food & Beverage Division
- availability to work holidays
- availability to work wherever needed even if primary outlet is closed
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
