Job Summary
Banquet Manager oversees the coordination and delivery of events across banquet, meeting rooms, and bar/restaurant outlets at The Emily Hotel/Onni’s properties. Works with the Executive Chef, Director of Food & Beverage, and Sales Team to ensure seamless guest experiences, manages staff through pre-shift briefings and weekly scheduling, coordinates contract details with the Executive Chef and sales staff, plans venue layouts, ensures compliance with union/CBA guidelines, maintains knowledge of menus, streamlines station/banquet layouts, oversees inventory and supplies, and handles guest relations and service quality to meet standards. The role requires ensuring staff are trained, scheduling adjusted for business demands, and adherence to liquor regulations and housekeeping standards; open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected, with a 5-day work week typical. Salary range is $70K-$75K plus benefits. The employer emphasizes strong leadership, hospitality management experience, and collaboration across hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in banquet management or similar field
