Job Summary
Directs and motivates the banquet team to provide high-quality service in accordance with requirements and standards. Manages financial and administrative responsibilities, including inventory, liquor-cost control, scheduling, and sanitation. Serves as liaison to the kitchen, leads shifts, conducts monthly department meetings, and ensures guest satisfaction through proactive problem resolution and continuous improvement. Develops staff, delegates tasks, and oversees compliance with safety procedures and emergency protocols to support successful events and client relationships at Marriott International.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the event management, food and beverage, or related professional area.
