Job Summary
Banquet Houseman responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet spaces in a hotel environment, including arranging tables and chairs, operating banquet equipment, setting up coffee breaks and bars, handling guest requests, and promoting superior guest service. Requires minimum age 18, a high school diploma or GED (or one month related experience/training), ability to stand for extended periods, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible, long hours are common. Position supports part-time scheduling at the Wilkes-Barre, PA location.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED; or one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Long hours sometimes required and must be available to work a flexible schedule and have the ability to remain standing for extensive periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
