Job Summary
Check with the Banquet Manager for daily instructions and set up banquet rooms to Club and Resort standards. Pre-arrange equipment, china, and supplies for events, ensuring all A/V needs are met and tested. Transport supplies, equipment, and food and beverage across the property while independently maintaining storage facilities and cleaning event rooms before and after functions. Refresh rooms during event breaks and report hazardous conditions or broken equipment to Engineering immediately. Greet every guest with "I Am Proud" service standards, address feedback using the LEARN Model, and deliver a fond farewell. Maintain an organized work environment, comply with safety guidelines, and uphold the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club's brand values.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Three (3) months job-related experience
- State of Colorado (or equivalent) Safe-Serve Certification/ TIPS Bar Certificate
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR Certification
- Food Protection Manager Certification
- Food Handler Certification
- Alcohol Server/Seller Certification
- Ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work inside and outside, possibly in inclement weather
- Ability to work with chemicals / detergents / cleaners
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces
- Ability to operate motorized equipment or vehicles
- Ability to work around/near machinery/motorized equipment
