Job Summary
Set up, maintain, and tear down all meeting spaces while ensuring banquet event orders are executed correctly. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout banquet areas, pre-function spaces, and storage zones including carpets, walls, windows, and HVAC units. Keep the banquet storeroom organized with all necessary supplies for meetings or food service functions. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and safety regulations, knowing fire exit and extinguisher locations. Break down equipment and store supplies properly after functions conclude, notifying management of any hazards. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver license for the applicable State and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record (property specific-driving))
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
