Banquet House Attendant - Full Time

Job Summary
Set up, tear down, and clean banquet and event spaces according to the BEO for each function. Provide guests with quality service interactions to enhance their stay while maintaining Marriott and Avion standards for food, beverage, and guest service. Vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, and wipe areas clean before, during, and after events, ensuring banquet rooms remain secure, organized, and safe. Stock assigned areas at the end of each shift as needed and assist in maintaining banquet and kitchen areas. Adhere to safety and security procedures, including locking rooms and storing equipment in designated areas. Meet the demands of the work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Three to six months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for coworkers and guests
- Knowledge of, and ability to, appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly
- Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and concisely
- Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
- Ability to frequently lift, push and pull 25-50lbs
