Job Summary
Set up, break down, and clean all event functions including tables, chairs, linen, AV, and umbrellas. Serve and bus all food and beverage, covering buffets, plated meals, and tray service. Demonstrate friendly hospitality while communicating courteously with guests, management, and co-workers. Prioritize tasks by reading BEOs and adjust to changing needs in high-stress situations. Work eight-hour shifts standing and moving continuously, lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally. Maintain Responsible Beverage Service certification and adhere strictly to Cliffs Standards of Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience
- Excellent Command of English language
- Energetic/Motivated/Reliable/Adaptable/Responsible/Efficient/Committed/Friendly
- Responsible Beverage Service Certified
- Ability to stand/move continuously for the duration of the shift (eight hours)
- Regular heavy lifting required (50 pounds or more)
- Ability to carry service trays
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in high stress situations
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and or 50 lbs frequently and/or 20 lbs of force constantly to lift, carry, push or pull objects
