Job Summary
Oversee daily culinary department operations by training and supervising kitchen staff in menu preparation, equipment usage, and safety protocols. Conduct thorough visual and sensory inspections of all products before service to ensure quality standards and correct recipe adherence. Manage production flow, assign specific duties, and maintain accurate menu specifications and production forecasts. Ensure strict compliance with health department regulations regarding receiving, storage, temperature control, and food rotation. Monitor equipment conditions and coordinate necessary repairs. Perform daily taste panels to verify seasoning and suitability for serving. Maintain a clean, organized work environment while fostering positive relationships across the team.
