Job Summary
Banquet Cook responsible for overseeing banquet, buffet, and catering food production to meet high standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Works with the Executive Chef to analyze recipes and determine food, labor, and overhead costs; establishes par levels; supervises kitchen staff; coordinates with other departments; ensures proper portion control, sanitation, and adherence to standardized recipes and food specifications; trains and develops culinary staff; presents dishes to guests; and maintains performance standards to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Requires ServSafe certification, strong communication and guest-relations skills, ability to work under pressure with a large team, and flexibility to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience preferred
- ServSafe certification
- Excellent communication and guest relation skills
- Ability to work well in a large team, in high-pressure environments
- Self-directed and able to maximize time/resources
- Dependable and goal driven

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
