Job Summary
Prepare and cook food per recipes standards while learning and adapting to a variety of event menus. Ensure food stations are prepped, organized, and clean, maintaining company standards on safety, food quality, presentation, and task management. This role requires previous high-volume kitchen experience, a current Food Handlers Permit, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with weekend and holiday availability. You will work in a 125-seat restaurant and formal event hall in Puyallup, Washington, supporting Farm 12's mission of whole food, people, and communities.
Required Qualifications
- some previous high volume restaurant kitchen experience
- Understands and has experience with cooking methods, kitchen quality and portion size standards
- Has a current Food Handlers Permit
- Can focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy items
- Must have weekend/holiday availability
