Job Summary
Banquet Chef position for the Calgary Stampede (seasonal, 2026) providing leadership and support for diverse Food operations across venues. Responsibilities include preparation of high-quality food and contemporary presentations, ensuring timely availability of food products, maintaining menu knowledge, conducting daily briefings with Chef de Partie/Sous Chef, promoting teamwork and employee satisfaction, leading kitchen cleanliness in line with CS and Alberta Health Services standards. Requires minimum 3 years in hotel/restaurant settings, Journeyman certification, strong organizational and decision-making abilities, food safety knowledge and carving skills. On-site at Calgary, AB during the Stampede, with flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Hotel or Restaurant setting.
- Journeyman certification is required.
- Must possess excellent organizational and quick decision making skills.
- Must have high quality standards and promote teamwork.
- Must have good knowledge of kitchen safety and safe food handling certificate.
- Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision.
- Must possess good carving skills
