Job Summary
Arrive on time for weekend event assignments to assist with setting up banquet or catering spaces, arranging tables, chairs, linens, and buffet stations. Serve food and beverages to guests while circulating trays of appetizers or drinks, refilling water, clearing plates, and accommodating special dietary needs. Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth execution, then assist with breakdown by clearing tables, stacking equipment, and cleaning service areas. Maintain professional appearance in black attire and adhere to hygiene and safety guidelines. Please communicate availability in advance and remain reachable for on-call shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in banquet, catering, restaurant, or event service
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift/move up to 25-50 lbs and set up/break down event spaces
- Reliable transportation to/from the job site in the Houston area
- Professional appearance and ability to follow dress/uniform standards
- Bilingual
- Wear all black clothing (black shirt, black pants, closed-toe shoes) for every shift
- Please communicate your availability in advance and be reachable when on call for weekend shifts
- Adhere to hygiene and safety guidelines
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
