Job Summary
Coordinate banquet functions by reviewing assigned staff functions and banquet menus, conducting pre-banquet meetings, and ensuring that banquet items are available. Responsible for the proper setup and storage of equipment, conducting audits during functions, and ensuring food is served at the appropriate temperature. Candidates should have strong communication skills and a basic understanding of food safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ServSafe Certified Food Manager (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft office applications and POS system
