Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee entire banquet functions to ensure proper execution and guest satisfaction. Review assigned staff functions and menus prior to events, conduct pre-banquet meetings to assign stations, and communicate with the Executive Chef or event coordinator to confirm details. Check room setups, verify food quantities and timing, and ensure appropriate quantities of china, glassware, and linens are available, securing requisitions as needed. Conduct random audits during functions to evaluate food and service, ensuring proper equipment handling, correct food temperatures, and upsell opportunities are met. Perform other duties as required while maintaining safe work practices and regular attendance. This role offers a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with an hourly rate of $16.00 to $17.00 and 401(k) matching benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and or holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high-volume banquet service environment preferred
