Job Summary
Banquet Captain responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet spaces, greeting guests, seating and addressing needs, serving food and beverages per standards, coordinating with kitchen and bar, monitoring guest satisfaction, setting up and refreshing event stations, maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout events, and supervising banquet staff to ensure seamless event execution.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience in event coordination or banquet service
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
