Job Summary
The Banquet Captain is responsible for organizing and coordinating the set-up, service, and breakdown for all food and beverage functions, ensuring complete guest satisfaction. This role involves direct supervision of associates, training servers and co-captains, and maintaining high service standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining sanitation and cleanliness, reviewing banquet event orders, coordinating communication between the banquet chef and service team, conducting daily briefings, supervising staff during events, and preparing accurate banquet checks. Effective problem-solving and ensuring timely service are essential to guarantee a positive guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
