Job Summary
Directs and coordinates banquet staff activities, ensuring sufficient personnel are prepared to serve meetings and banquets. Oversees guest greeting, food service, and clearing dishes while maintaining a clean, orderly work area. Consults with the Banquet/Service Manager or Executive Chef regarding serving arrangements and equipment needs. Assists in supervising 1-10 employees, including training, assigning work, and resolving complaints. Ensures food is correctly garnished and stored properly, adhering to all company policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications

- Must be able to ensure sufficient banquet staff is present and prepared
- Must be able to greet guests and meet needs in a friendly, professional manner
- Must be able to direct and participate in side work duties
- Must be able to observe and serve food to ensure it is correctly garnished and arranged
- Must be able to direct and clear all dishes and items used in the service of banquets
- Must be able to ensure proper storage
- Must be able to maintain a clean and orderly work area
