Job Summary
Lead Banquet team in serving guests during banquet functions; check BEO accuracy and room set-up; ensure public areas are neat and clean; communicate with group representatives; coordinate banquet staff set-ups, changes, and time schedules; operate as a banquet server from setup to breakdown; recap banquet checks; know menu ingredients and preparation methods; maintain attendance and be available regularly; join a comprehensive benefits program with opportunities for development and advancement in HEI Hotels and Resorts.
Required Qualifications
- Hotel experience preferred
- Superior communication skills to provide information and associated services to hotel management and guests
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
