Job Summary
Banquet Captain role at Olympia Hospitality involves coordinating and overseeing banquet staff, assisting with setup of banquet rooms and event spaces (tables, chairs, linens, place settings, decorations), ensuring equipment and audiovisual gear are ready, greeting and seating guests, taking and serving food and beverages, providing personalized service, addressing guest inquiries and issues with professionalism, and assisting with event breakdown and post-event cleaning. Requires high-level customer service, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and effective teamwork. Part-time, hourly position based in Norfolk, VA with tips included.
Required Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with event/setup operations or banquet service preferred
