Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of banquet events at Embassy Suites Asheville Downtown. Directly supervise banquet staff, set up and break down banquet rooms per event specifications, greet guests, assist with seating, and ensure timely, high-quality service in coordination with kitchen and bar teams. Maintain cleanliness and safety of banquet areas, monitor guest satisfaction, handle inquiries, and uphold service standards and alcohol regulations throughout events. ServSafe certification is a plus; 21+ to serve alcohol. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience in event coordination or banquet service, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
