Job Summary
Set up bars and accessories as directed, serve liquor, beer, soda, juice, and mixed drinks with standard garnishments, and check guest identification to verify age requirements. Utilize the POS system proficiently to accept payment, maintain accurate consumption sheets, and balance cash receipts before processing the bank at event conclusion. Comply with inventory control measures, break down the bar, and store supplies while maintaining a safe, clean, organized work area following sanitation standards. Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Three (3) years bartending experience required
- Completion of Bartending School, or equivalent training and two (2) years bartending experience may be considered in lieu of the three-year experience requirement
- One (1) year banquet bartending experience required
- At least two (2) years experience working in a variety of capacities within a high-volume Banquet/Catering operation with one (1) year of fine dining service required
- Obtain and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit
- Obtain and maintain a valid MAST certification
- Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
- Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
- Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
