Banquet Bartender

Job Summary
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes at cash and hosted bars. Set up bars and accessories, check guest identification for age verification, and utilize the POS system to accept payments. Maintain accurate inventory records, consumption sheets, and cash bank balances while complying with all sanitation and safety standards. Break down bars and store supplies at the end of functions. Perform other tasks assigned within a fast-paced banquet environment. Requires three years of bartending experience, one year in a high-volume banquet operation, and a valid WA State Health Card and MAST certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Three (3) years bartending experience required
- Completion of Bartending School, or equivalent training and two (2) years bartending experience may be considered in lieu of the three-year experience requirement
- One (1) year banquet bartending experience required
- At least two (2) years experience working in a variety of capacities within a high-volume Banquet/Catering operation with one (1) year of fine dining service required
- Obtain and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit
- Obtain and maintain a valid MAST certification
- Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License
- Must demonstrate mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters
- Must demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse, read, write and read English fluently
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
