Job Summary
Represent clients in consumer bankruptcy matters and guide them through the legal process. Manage a high volume of active bankruptcy cases while maintaining strong attention to detail. Prepare, review, and file pleadings, petitions, motions, and other legal documents. Communicate directly with clients, creditors, courts, and opposing counsel. Analyze client financial circumstances and develop effective legal strategies. Advocate for clients against banks, creditors, and other parties. Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, documentation, and follow-up throughout each matter. Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide efficient, high-quality representation.
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan Bar license
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage a demanding caseload in a high-volume environment
- Detail oriented, dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of work
- Must have an active Michigan Bar license
