Job Summary
Banking Relationship Specialist to acquire, retain, and expand business and consumer client relationships at ConnectOne Bank. Key duties include proactively identifying opportunities for relationship acquisition and development through consultative cross-selling, performing account openings, educating clients on bank products, ensuring compliance with operational and security controls, handling customer service issues, assisting branch operations and back-up coverage for Branch/Assistant Branch Manager, supporting teller-related tasks, contributing to branch sales goals, and participating in community events. Requires strong needs-based sales skills, federal/state banking regulation knowledge, and the ability to work a flexible schedule while delivering exceptional client service.
Required Qualifications
- One to three years bank platform sales and teller experience
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state banking regulations
- Strong needs-based sales skills
- Strong interpersonal and teambuilding abilities
