Job Summary
Own end-to-end Claims processes and governance for Germany-focused Banking Operations, including compliance, risk controls, and audit readiness. Lead investigation of complex cases (insolvency, legal requests, edge cases), manage outsourcing relationships, drive process changes to improve customer experience and reduce risk, and coach team members to operate within defined decision boundaries. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Legal, and Customer Service teams; define and track KPIs/OKRs; conduct incident analysis and implement actionable, long-term fixes; maintain documentation to minimize audit findings and elevate service quality; leverage data for prioritization and decision making; communicate effectively in German and English.
Required Qualifications
- Professional banking qualification or degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Fluent written and spoken German and English (German is essential)
