Job Summary
Banking Lockbox Processor responsible for moderate operational and administrative tasks across areas including credit cards, retail banking, small business banking, consumer lending, mortgage banking, collections, recovery, origination, or auto finance. Performs data-entry-focused duties with strong attention to detail, executes procedures, analyzes documentation, and supports reporting under moderate supervision. Requires ability to handle high transaction volumes, meet deadlines, and provide customer service with effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operations role
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; college degree preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical, research and problem resolution skills
- Proficient in 10-Key
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Intermediate understanding of banking policies, procedures, government regulations
- Ability to handle monetary/processing functions and high transaction volumes
- Ability to meet production goals
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in decision making
- Moderate knowledge/experience in multiple payment delivery channels; OLDS, Lockbox, ACH, wires
