Job Summary
Senior consultant role leading large-scale transformations for Financial Services & Insurance clients, partnering with senior stakeholders to define target operating models, blueprints, roadmaps and governance across people, process, technology, and business objectives. Responsibilities include managing programmes end-to-end (planning, budgeting, risk, timelines), liaising between business and technology, defining and prioritizing technical requirements, maintaining product backlogs and agile ceremonies (PI planning, sprint planning), and contributing to sales proposals and client pitches. Requires deep knowledge of project management in both waterfall and agile contexts, strong Excel/Power BI analytics, change management, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to travel for client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in STEM or related field; MBA preferred
- At least 5+ years of experience in a technology-focused role within management consulting
- Experience leading large-scale transformation programmes in financial services and insurance
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
- Proficiency in agile and waterfall delivery, with ability to manage product backlogs, epics, features, and user stories
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and advanced Excel
- Ability to travel for client engagements
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proven ability to shape propositions and manage delivery risk
- Regulatory and domain knowledge across banking (lending, payments, onboarding/KYC, AML/fraud) and insurance (underwriting, claims)
