Job Summary
Process everyday banking transactions, open new accounts, and service customers on the teller line or digital platform while uncovering financial needs. Deliver end-to-end advice by providing consultative support, educating customers on products and tools, and advocating with proactive insights to attract and retain clients. Manage wait times, schedule appointments with bankers, and prioritize leads through outbound calls, SMS, and internal referrals to deepen relationships. Ensure all operational activities comply with regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, maintain accurate cash drawer balances, and follow strict authentication and control procedures. Complete required training on teller operations and platform systems within established deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience working with customers
- Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire
- Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Notary License preferred
