Job Summary
The Banking Associate handles everyday banking transactions and provides education and guidance on TD’s products and services to help customers reach their financial goals. Responsibilities span processing teller and platform transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on products and services. The role emphasizes building customer trust through educational content and consultative support, while identifying opportunities to promote TD products and services. It involves lead management activities (creating and managing self-generated leads, referring leads from partners, and outreach) and maintaining compliance with policies and audits. Required capabilities include strong communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training and onboarding are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience working with customers in any capacity
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred
- Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Teller training and platform training upon hire
