Job Summary
The Banking Associate role delivers everyday banking transactions and educates customers on TD products and tools to help them meet their financial goals. Responsibilities include processing teller transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services; building trust through educational content and consultative guidance; generating and managing leads, referrals, and outreach to deepen customer relationships; guiding customers to the right TD partner for specialized needs; ensuring accurate cash handling and compliance with policy and regulatory requirements; and maintaining strong customer service, organization, and teamwork within a store environment. Ideal candidates demonstrate high school-level education, at least one year of customer-facing experience, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Teller training and platform onboarding are provided after hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience working with customers
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
