Banking App Technical Lead

Job Summary
Build and lead the mobile development team for the iOS and Android banking app, managing end-to-end delivery from technical analysis through release management and optimization. Translate strategic priorities into tactical execution plans while coordinating profitability analysis, internal approvals, and delivery planning for new digital products. Define and monitor key performance indicators for app development, customer experience, and delivery efficiency. Collaborate with business, product, design, QA, and support teams to ensure successful delivery, address user feedback, and align with banking security and data protection requirements. Develop product documentation including specifications and process flows within an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Experience working with financial mobile apps, banking apps, payments, or fintech products
- Strong understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle, app architecture, integrations, and cross-platform development approaches
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, using Agile practices and tools such as Scrum or Kanban to manage project tasks and sprints
- Experience with integrating third-party APIs and services into mobile apps, authentication systems, banking APIs, and SDKs of third-party vendors
- Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing approaches, defect management, and release validation
- Basic understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles
- Fluent English - written and spoken
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
