Job Summary
Provide friendly, personalized service to customers by performing financial transactions, opening accounts, and answering inquiries while adhering to strict policies and procedures. Balance the teller window accurately, process cash, and compile currency transaction reports to maintain branch efficiency. Proactively meet customers face-to-face and over the phone to recommend products, cross-sell services, and refer prospects to non-bank associates. Distribute loan applications, interview applicants, and ensure all documentation is accurate while maintaining security and loss prevention guidelines. Maintain a professional image and possess deep knowledge of consumer and business banking products.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least one of retail banking experience, including teller, sales, or some comparable combination of education and experience
- Required to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and maintain a unique identifying number with appropriate training
- Possess an excellent working knowledge of all bank products and services, consumer, and business
- Possess an excellent working knowledge of branch systems, including but not limited to procedures, policies, cash handling, and transaction processing
