Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service, handle routine financial transactions, and promote bank products based on customer needs. Perform paying and receiving duties while maintaining accurate cash drawers within assigned authority limits. Actively support branch sales efforts, participate in marketing promotions, and share in administrative duties as required. Ensure all activities comply with state and federal banking laws, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality during customer interactions and demonstrate strong math skills regarding negotiable instruments. Operate standard office equipment and adapt quickly to new technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months customer service experience
- 1-year recent cash handling and customer service experience in a financial services industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies quickly
- Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide an exceptional level of customer service
- Demonstrated math skills
- Understanding of debit and credit relationships
- Understanding of negotiable instruments
- Ability to gain working knowledge of bank products and services
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to access and utilize an alternative method of transportation, when needed, to carry out job-related essential functions and attend required training
