Job Summary
Lead, develop and supervise a team of Rehabilitation Support Workers to support service users with brain injury in daily living and personal skills; participate in holistic assessments, plan and implement individually tailored therapeutic programmes; act as key worker, liaise with professionals, document reports and records, and provide evidence-based holistic care. Role requires RMN/RNLD qualification, leadership experience in primary nurse teams, and knowledge of the Independent Healthcare sector. Competitive hourly rate in GBP, bank-shift employment with rolling DBS/check requirements, and a supportive inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- An RMN/RNLD nursing qualification
- Proven experience of primary nurse teams; their development and function
- Knowledge or understanding of working within the Independent Healthcare sector
- Experience of writing reports and detailed assessments
- Ability to communicate at all levels, both written and oral and using a variety of media
- Demonstrate relevant understanding of the statutory requirements applicable to the service i.e. The Healthcare Commission
- IT skills including the ability to open and send emails using Outlook, the ability to use Microsoft office and the ability to navigate the internet
- Ability to deal positively with problems and difficult situations
