Job Summary
Lead, develop, and supervise a team of Rehabilitation Support Workers to support service users with brain injuries in daily living functions. Conduct holistic assessments of care needs, plan and implement individually tailored therapeutic programmes, and act as a key worker and advocate for designated users. Exercise clinical leadership by example, competently carry out procedures, and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with NMC guidance. Manage drug custody, adhere to legal requirements including Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard protocols, and facilitate confidential communication with families and professionals. Requires RMN/RNLD qualification and experience in primary nurse teams. Bank hours at £20.85–£25.97 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- An RMN/RNLD nursing qualification
- Proven experience of primary nurse teams; their development and function
- Knowledge or understanding of working within the Independent Healthcare sector
- Experience of writing reports and detailed assessments
- Ability to communicate at all levels, both written and oral and using a variety of media
- Demonstrate relevant understanding of the statutory requirements applicable to the service i.e. The Healthcare Commission
- IT skills including the ability to open and send emails using Outlook, the ability to use Microsoft office and the ability to navigate the internet
- Ability to deal positively with problems and difficult situations
- 3 years of checkable references
- DBS/PVG checks
