Bank Reconciliation Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct daily reviews of bank statements and core applications to identify outstanding transactions and resolve reconciling items. Reconcile all recorded cash transactions from drivers and ensure timely booking of adjusting items such as bank charges. Liaise with stakeholders across all business levels to ensure accurate payment settlements and escalate exceptional or aged suspense account items to Portfolio Managers and concerned teams. Create and update issue log reports for reconciliation gaps, follow through on resolutions, and provide relevant documentation. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and ERP proficiency to address internal control issues and maintain transaction accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate good knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets
- A minimum of 2 years Reconciliation or accounting experience
- Good financial accounting and reporting skills
- Good analytical skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Applications
- Ability to use ERP
- Ability to work quickly and flexibly, where things move rapidly and are inclined to change based on results
