Job Summary
Support the Pharmacy Manager in ordering, stock control, and preparation of drugs and medicines, including providing advice to patients and clinical staff on pharmaceutical products. Check Inpatient Prescription Record Charts regularly to ensure appropriate treatment, sufficient supplies, and medicines reconciliation. Maintain agreed standards of patient care and confidentiality in accordance with Ramsay policies and GPhC standards. Work on an ad-hoc basis to fill shifts during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ3
- BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science of equivalent level
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills
- Demonstrated Computer skills
- Experience working in a hospital environment
- Enhanced DBS check
